Our family-owned business has over 25 years of experience in creating true getaways, enhancing mental wellness & health, and providing settings where unique, individual success can be achieved.
Our name reflects our joys and our passions: Heber Valley is a picturesque destination, nestled among the wonderful Wasatch Mountains. This alpine location is a wonderful setting to step away and dedicate time to Mental Emotional Release, while you escape to focus on creations MADE by you! Mountain M*E*R*MADE!
A bit more than five years ago, our founder, Kim Davis, was dealing with all the stresses that come with the life she loved – being a Mom to her five wonderful children – the “FAB5”, wife to her husband, Ken, daughter, sister, aunt, working as a National Sales Manager for Park City Convention & Visitors Bureau, serving in her church and community, and on, and on and on… Her mental wellness was drained from so many pursuits and demands, and she felt disconnected from her identity.
She saw a post on social media by a friend from Omaha, also now living in Utah, who had hosted a group of other friends from Omaha at a ‘quilting retreat’. Not having been invited to this retreat in what felt like her own ‘backyard’, added to Kim’s feeling of being weighed down and overwhelmed. Kim reached out to this friend to see if she could learn about quilting, would this friend be willing to teach her, and with her resounding ‘Yes’, began her journey on the path to creativity, connection and intentionally spending time to sustain and grow friendships.
